As we move ahead in life, we start to lose connection with our friends. New opportunities, more responsibilities, long hours, and extreme pressure; this repeated cycle causes havoc in our lives and instead of making us content, turns our world upside down and before we notice our innocence of making friendship bands on our own turns into materialistic gifts and so called ‘lunches’.
I know it is hard to imagine friendship day away from your friends this year especially if your mates are in different cities, states or countries but I don’t understand the point of grief for this matter because friendship day is nothing but to show how grateful you are to have such friends in your life and lockdown is giving you ample time to create, innovate and produce some unique ideas to wish your shadow selves like turning one of the beautiful memories into a piece of art.

Yeah, you got me….so tell me, how many of you guys have related every character in your group to the ones in F.R.I.E.N.D.S.?
Some of you must have named them as Pheobe or Joey and well the rest I guess, they have just kept in their hearts because probably not all the members of their group have watched such an amazing SITCOM. (…..just to mention, I’m the ‘rest’…..) and it was my dream to make each member dressed like the characters of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Yeaaah! Well guess what, I did it and ofcourse all the credits to this lockdown. So it was our group’s little effort to make friendship day 2020 quite memorable and for that please click on the video down below.
Now, imagine this scenario, you are sitting at your home, all fed up and exhausted after back to back online classes and stuff and suddenly you receive a call from your long lost but never away from your memories friend. How good does it feel, right? He takes your name and curses and you laugh and get back at him. Those 10 mins of happy moments enable you to pass the rest of the day swiftly and you start thinking about all the lame jokes your friend cracked and you laughed at it as nothing was funnier.
And then there’s another scenario where your whatsapp is flooded with the long yet beautiful texts from your best friend or paintings he/she made while cherishing some beautiful moments together etc. etc. and here are some paintings that can inspire that hidden artist in you to make your time and effort worth. Have you already forgot the times when you used to make cards and other beautiful stuff.
Anyhow, I’m not going to bore you with all those friendship related quotes because you must have had that enough but just to remind you that friendship is the most precious relationship one can have and it takes a lot misunderstandings, fights, gloomy days, happy moments, bunking of classes etc. to make it stronger and stronger. So, I guess its quite important to thank all those people who
stood by you and gave justice to this beautiful word ‘FRIEND’.
· Wish all those friends who made you laugh harder at one point of your life but you two lost touch because of circumstances.
· Thank all those teachers who became your dear friend and guided you well when you were too raw to think about your future.
· Wish those siblings who kept all of your secrets from your parents.
· And lastly, thank your parents who became your ‘friend in need is a friend indeed’ when you got no one by your side.
So, go one and make this special day a little more special with your endeavour. And I couldn’t agree more to Cher Lloyd when she said,
